First 5K of the season!
I just wanted to post quickly that this Saturday I ran my first 5K of what I will refer to as "running season." The race wasn't chip timed but when I crossed the finish line the clock said 36:10.
It was the "Bust a Move 5K" in Troy. The course was flat, which was nice (although no help for the hilly 10K I am doing in 12 days!) but the race was poorly organized. The roads were not closed and they were struggling with the T-shirts despite the fact that only pre-registered people got T-shirts.
Nonetheless, it was a beautiful day for a run and I felt great. 10K here I come!
