Hi, I am Katelyn!
I am a 31-year old runner and triathlete living in Atlanta, GA, trying to balance living a healthy lifestyle in a world of happy hours, traveling, eating out, and loving junk food (yes, it's true, I have a fondness for anything with more than 5 grams of fat...) I am on my 4th year living in the South after spending my life throughout New England and Upstate New York. It's been a wonderful transition and I am loving exploring a new city and part of the country.
Over the past few years I have developed a passion for running, triathlon and fitness and through those efforts and in my earlier years, Weight Watchers, have lost more than 65 pounds and am working to maintain that weight loss.

I've run six Marathons and also have been working on my speed and endurance for all distances. I have worked my way up from Sprint to Olympic distance triathlons and have done three Half Ironman distance races. I am working my way up to eventually a full Ironman and the marathon goal of trying to qualify for Boston.

It's not always easy, and I struggle, a lot. But writing here helps keep me honest. I have loved sharing my experience, relationship with food, fitness, and life and can't believe all the changes I have gone through since I started this blog. I had no idea the journey I would begin. I also LOVE hearing from you. Don't be shy and I hope that something I share here connects or relates with you somehow!
